Posted July 12, 2018 09:07:31A new baby’s first feeding is a milestone, and that milestone is the delivery of a bottle.
But it’s not the end of the story.
It’s important to keep in mind that the timing of a baby’s feeding depends on a number of factors.
First, the amount of milk delivered is different.
A mother’s breastmilk needs to be sufficient to supply the baby with the full volume of milk that the baby will need.
Second, the timing depends on the type of breastfeeding you do.
For instance, when a baby is nursing at the breast and then breastfeeding on its own, it may not be possible to breastfeed as much milk as the other way around.
And, finally, a bottle’s ability to absorb milk depends on how much of the milk it’s being fed.
