GamesBeat: You’re pregnant with your first child.
What’s next for you and your family?
Recode’s Amanda Hess: We are really excited about the game Unassissted, a game that we’re really proud of and it’s got some really exciting features for us.
We want to continue the story with the birth of our child, and we’re also really excited to bring this to consoles and other platforms where people have a lot of opportunities to explore this world.
We’re working on it right now, and it will be released in 2018.
We have a ton of plans.
But right now the plan is to continue to develop it.
Amanda Hess, chief creative officer at Nintendo: We’re really excited with Unassissted.
I think it’s really interesting, it’s kind of a different take on the simulation.
I like the idea of taking a different approach and putting a lot more emphasis on what you’re experiencing in the real world than you might be in a video game.
And the graphics are really beautiful, the animations are very fluid, there’s some pretty intense physics in there.
The music is also really good.
There’s a lot that we can really work on.
I can tell you right now that we are in talks with a lot people at Nintendo who are really looking forward to working with us, but right now we have a really cool, exciting development schedule.
We are looking at a lot.
We’ve got two games in development right now and they’re both set to launch next year.
They’re both a bit different than the other two, but they’re still great, very different experiences.
And then we have another game coming out this year called Depressed After Birth.
I know it’s pretty big news, but I want to start with the biggest surprise, and that’s that we have one of the coolest female characters on Nintendo’s roster right now.
The other two are super-rare, and they were released a few years ago, so I’m really excited that we’ve got a really good, cool female character on our roster right after the release of Depressed after Birth.
Amanda: We also have a new trailer for DepressedAfterBirth, which will be available to stream on Nintendo.com in early 2018.
You can also read about our development process, which you can read more about in the full Recode podcast, which we’re airing right now in which we talk with Amanda Hess and the other Nintendo team members about the new Zelda, Mario, Super Mario, and other projects that they’re working hard on.
This is Recode.
