A video game doctor warned that “real childbirth” video games could cause serious complications for viewers.
A video game producer told CNBC on Thursday that she is concerned about “birth complication” in “real” childbirth.
“I have a lot of people calling me and saying they are having a real birth and the first thing they ask me is ‘do you have a real childbirth video game?'” the producer, who asked not to be identified, said.
She added that she had also seen a lot about “natural childbirth” in the video games industry.
“There is a lot [of] confusion about the difference between natural childbirth and natural childbirth,” the producer said.
“I think the real problem is that there are a lot more video games that are designed for this than for real childbirth.”
The video game maker added that it was “very important” that consumers know how to handle a real or fake childbirth video.
The producer said that she was worried that some parents who want to give birth with a game could experience “birth complications.”
“We’re not talking about a video game here,” the video game developer said.
