The New York Daily News reports that in a class that includes a “chewing and sneezing” class, students will have to chew, cough, and sneeze to pass their exams.
The class, which starts on Wednesday and runs through February, will teach “the fundamentals of chewing and sneering.”
According to the New York Times, the class “was devised by the Manhattan boroughs school district after an outcry from parents who found the course, which required students to chew and sneer, unhelpful for the emotional well-being of their infants and children.”
According the Times, “the group of more than 100 people” is made up of mothers, dads, and grandparents who all attend the class at the school’s school of the future in Harlem.
